Abstract：Easy and inexpensive manufacturing of biological weapons ,complicated detection ,expensive protection ,dif‐ficult treating of affected individuals ,selective impact only for people ,animals or plants ,are all factors making an effective defense against biological warfare agents .The aim of this study is to introduce the systems for the detection and identification of biological aerosols containing dangerous bioagents .The basic techniques used for detection and identification of bioagents are described ,including physical ,molecular ,immunochemical ,and other ligand assays .Measuring systems and equipment for the individual techniques are summarized .
