Abstract：Spare parts consumption prediction is the base work of consumption standards establishment ,this paper re‐views the related domestic and overseas literatures on spare parts consumption prediction .Under the discussing of the meth‐ods of spare parts classification ,the paper sums up the consumption prediction methods of continuity and discontinuity spare parts .And then ,it indicates the virtues and disadvantages from different consumption prediction models .Finally ,it reveals the research key points and development trends of spare parts consumption prediction .
