Application of Zero-Cross Triggering Technology in Thyristor-Switched Capacitor(TSC) Device
Abstract：SVC is an important equipment of power system to keep system stability and voltage staility.TSC is a main part of SVE,How to switch the capacitors is very important for the compensation effect,but it also is a difficult problem.The requirement follow: reliability,fast response and nonimpact.In this paper,the way of zero-cross triggering circuit is designed.The thyristor is not triggered until its voltage equal zero.The performance of zero-cross triggering technology can solve the problem and is proved by a lot of experiments.
