An Advanced Dynamic Channel Assignment MAC Protocol for Multi-Channel Ad Hoc Networks
Abstract：This paper presents an advanced DCA MAC protocol for multi-hop ad hoc network.When the number of data channel is few,the control channel will keep idle for a long time when all data channels are busy,which lead to poor throughput performance of network.The advanced DCA MAC protocol presented in this paper allows short data packets to be transmitted in control channel when there is no available data channel.Results show that the advanced DCA MAC protocol can improve the throughput in a multi-hop ad hoc network.
