Study on ASF Correction of Loran C Ground Wave Propagation
Abstract：The ASF（additional secondary factor） of Loran C signal ground wave propagation is the main source of positioning errors,and the positioning accuracy can be significantly improved by mean of ASF correction.The theoretical and experimental researches were conducted in this paper,the theoretical calculation methods of ground wave propagation delay on different propagation paths were given,and the theoretical prediction and measured values were compared.The studies show that it is feasible to establish ASF correction database in Loran C coverage area with combining the theoretical predictions and experimental method.
