Abstract:The effects of temperature, light intensity, salinity and the various nutrition (NaNO3,NH4NO3,CO(NH2)2,NH4HCO3) conditions on the growth of marine green alga Caulerpa Lentillifera were conducted. Results shown that the suitable temperature for the growth was in a range of 21~27℃,and the maximum relative growth rate (RGR) was at 27 ℃.The suitable light intensity was in a range of 72.73~ 145.45 μmol · m-2 s-1 and of 109.09 ~ 145.45 μmol · m-2 s-1,without significant differences of these two ranges for RGR.The suitable salinity range was 27.5 ~32.5 ‰.The RGR showed a decreased trend with the increase of salinity. The optimal concentration of the four nutrition conditions were at the range of 10~20 mg · L-1,10~20 mg · L-1,10~30 mg · L-1 and 10~30 mg ·L-1,respectively.Among the various nutrition conditions(NaNO3 、NH4NO3 、CO(NH2)2 、NH4HCO3),NO3-N had a significant impact on the growth of Caulerpa Lentillifera while the maximum RGR appeared at 20 mg · L-1 NH4NO3concentration.
