Abstract:In order to analyze fish biodiversity connectivity in Wuyi Mountain, the fish diversity of three national nature reserves in western Wuyi Mountains including Wuyishan,Matoushan and Ganjiangyuan were studied. The analyzed included the fauna and the capacity, connectivity and quality of biodiversity. The fish species stepped up from southern to northern Wuyi Mountains;the richness of species (DG) showed that Wuyishan Nature Reserve carried the largest capacity among the three reserves. As referring to the connectivity, the similarity index of species among the three nature reserves were less than 50% while βL.index within these reserves was more than 50%.Accordingly,the results suggested that there was marked differentiation of fish species among those nature reserves in western Wuyi Mountains. The Matoushan Nature Reserve was an important node in western Wuyi Mountains as was indicated by the Cody indexβc.On account of having more types and endemic species, the Wuyishan Nature Reserve was statistically weighted on measuring the biodiversity quality. The QL.index was 255,which meant that Wuyishan Nature Reserve carried the best quality of fish biodiversity. It might be conducive to promote the preservation of biodiversity across the whole Wuyi Mountains by strengthening the study of biodiversity connectivity amongst each nature reserves,as well as constructing an idiomatical and connected nature reserve network.
