A Case of Preparation of Natural Matrix Positive Quality Control Sample for the Determination of Tetrodotoxin in Fugu Muscle

Abstract：A method for preparing tetrodotoxin natural matrix positive quality control sample through spiking the blank muscle of Fugu was conducted,mixed with additives of Cleanert PestiCarb (GCB) and C18 (in this case,mGCB/mC18 =1:1),The homogeneity and stability of the prepared sample were detected by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry.A cooperative certification was conducted with 6 accredited laboratories.The results showed that the property value in the prepared positive quality control sample had a good homogeneity and stability.The prepared sample could be used for method validation and quality control in determination tetrodotoxin in Fugu products.
