Abstract:We examined the phytoplankton community structure in the Beidagang wetland in autumn (October) of 2014.A total of 57 phytoplankton species were identified. The main phylum were Chlorophyta (21 species),Bacillariophyta (17 species) and Cyanophyta (12 species). There were also a few species belonging to Euglenophyta (4 species),Cryptophyta (2 species) and Dinophyta (1 species). The dominant species were Microcystis sp.,Nostoc sp.,Phormidium sp.and Spirulina sp.,among which,Spirulina sp.had the highest dominance (0.499).Cell abundance ranged from 9.35 105 to 14694.35 105 cells/L with an average of 3085.05 105 cells/L in the Beidagang wetland in the October. The Shannon-Wiener diversity index ranged from 0.78 to 2.57 with an average of 0.44 in the October. The biodiversity indicated that surface water of Beidagang wetland belonged to the ecological Lightheavy pollution type.According to the cluster analysis and multidimensional scaling (MDS).The phytoplankton community was classified into three phytoplankton community groups,i.e.,estuary type community, flow type community, and quiet-water type community.Ecological environment and flow velocity were the main factors affecting the distribution of phytoplankton community at the sampling sites.
