Comprehensive Utilization of Warm Effluent from Coastal Power Plants

Abstract：A large volume of warm effluent is discharged into receiving waters by coastal power plants;these plants use once-through water cooling system warming up the local waters and causing serious marine environment pollution.In order to reduce the marine environment pollution,the reasonable uti lization of the waste heat of warm effluent from coastal power plants is highly appreciated by todays so ciety.By referring to the waste heat utilization strategies of the warm effluent available at home and a broad,we suggested an effective comprehensive approach of the waste heat utilization of coastal power plants warm effluent in future.
