Abstract:The team situation awareness (TSA) is an import concept in researches of the team performance. However, the study of TSA is still in the primary stage and there are two main definitions. The first claims that TSA exists in team members and the other thinks that the whole team owns the TSA while team members are components.Hence the first model of TSA consists of the individual SA and the shared SA while the second one suggests a distributed model of TSA.Besides the conceptual models,so far there are mainly three methods used to assess the TSA,which are assessment based on the models, assessment by experts and CAST(coordinated awareness of situation by teams). This article reviewed the above contents and proposed that the studies in the future should pay more attention to building a more operational model and developing a more convenient measurement.
