Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical value of multimodal ultrasound combined with virtual touch tissue imaging quantification(VTIQ)in the diagnosis of different molecular types of breast cancer. Methods Eighty patients with breast cancer who were treated in the First People's Hospital of Pingdingshan from January 2022 to March 2023 were selected, including 35 cases of Luminal B type,12 cases of Luminal A type,22 cases of HER2 overexpression, and 11 cases of triple negative type. The characteristics of conventional ultrasound and color Doppler flow imaging and VTIQ imaging in patients with different molecular subtypes of breast cancer were compared, and the value of multimodal ultrasound combined with VTIQ technology in the diagnosis of different molecular subtypes of breast cancer was evaluated. Results The proportion of circular shape, smooth edges in triple negative lesions were 54.55%,36.36%,respectively,which was higher than other molecular subtypes(P<0.05).The proportion of HER2 overexpression lesions with calcification and blood flow grade 2-3 were 63.64%and 72.73%,respectively,which were higher than other molecular subtypes(P<0.05).The maximum shear wave velocity at tumor margin of Luminal A and Luminal B type lesions were(7.12±0.97)m·s-1 and(7.22±0.92)m·s-1,respectively,which was higher than HER2 overexpression and triple negative type lesions(P<0.05).The area under the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve for diagnosing Luminal A and Luminal B types using maximum shear wave velocity at tumor margin was 0.794(95%CI:0.695-0.892).The sensitivity of ultrasound for Luminal A and Luminal B was 85.11%,which was higher than ultrasound alone(P<0.05).Conclusion Different molecular types of breast cancer have obvious differences in ultrasound morphology, blood flow, calcification and VTIQ parameter characteristics, and multimodal ultrasound combined with VTIQ technology has certain application value in the diagnosis of different molecular types of breast cancer.
