Abstract:Objective To investigate the efficacy of drug coated balloon(DCB)intervention therapy for in situ coronary artery disease guided by intravascular ultrasound(IVUS).Methods Data from 104 patients with in situ coronary artery disease admitted to Puyang People's Hospital from October 2021 to October 2023 were collected.Among them,54 patients who received DCB intervention therapy guided by IVUS were included in the observation group, and 50 patients who received DCB intervention therapy guided by conventional coronary angiography(CAG)were included in the control group.Preoperative and postoperative cardiac function[left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)and stroke volume(SV)],length of target lesion, rate of diameter stenosis and incidence of adverse cardiovascular events were compared between the two groups. Results The surgical time of the observation group was longer than that of the control group. The DCB expansion pressure was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).At 12 months after surgery, both groups showed an increase in LVEF and SV compared to preoperative levels(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between the groups(P>0.05).At 12 months after surgery, the length and degree of stenosis of the target blood vessel in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse cardiovascular events in the observation group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion DCB intervention therapy guided by IVUS can improve cardiac function in patients with in situ coronary artery disease, significantly reduce the length and degree of target vessel stenosis after surgery, have fewer adverse cardiovascular events, and have good safety.
