Abstract:Objective To explore the relationship between heart rate variability and renal injury in chronic heart failure patients with hypertension. Methods A total of 117 chronic heart failure patients with hypertension admitted to Zhengzhou Second People's Hospital from September 2022 to April 2024 were selected as the study group, and 117 chronic heart failure patients without hypertension who were treated in Zhengzhou Second People's Hospital during the same period were selected as the control group. The heart rate variability indicators[root mean square of successive differences of neighboring R-R interval(RMSSD),percent of neighboring R-R intervals differing>50 ms(PNN50),standard deviation of normal R-R interval(SDNN),standard deviation of the average normal R-R interval(SDANN)]and renal function indicators[serum creatinine(SCr),blood urea nitrogen(BUN),estimated glomerular filtration rate(eGFR)]in the two groups were detected and compared. The study group patients were divided into a renal injury group(76 cases)and a non renal injury group(41 cases)according to the renal injury situation, and the heart rate variability indicators and renal function indicators of these two groups were compared. The correlation between heart rate variability indicators and renal function indicators in chronic heart failure patients with hypertension was analyzed through Pearson method, and the relationship between heart rate variability and renal injury was analyzed by using logistic regression analysis. Results The RMSSD,PNN50,SDNN,SDANN and eGFR of the study group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05),while SCr and BUN were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).The RMSSD,PNN50,SDNN,SDANN and eGFR in the renal injury group were lower than those in the non renal injury group(P<0.05),while SCr and BUN were higher than those in the non renal injury group(P<0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that RMSSD,PNN50,SDNN and SDANN were positively correlated with eGFR(P<0.05),but they were negatively correlated with SCr and BUN(P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that RMSSD,PNN50,SDNN and SDANN were all influencing factors for renal injury in chronic heart failure patients with hypertension(P<0.05).Conclusion The heart rate variability indicators are related to the occurrence of renal injury in chronic heart failure patients with hypertension, and heart rate variability is a influencing factors for renal injury in chronic heart failure patients with hypertension.
