Abstract:Objective To develop a social alienation scale for stroke patients and test its reliability and validity. Methods To construct the conceptual framework of social alienation for stroke patients,on this basis, the initial scale was formed through literature review, the qualitative interview, expert consultation and pre-investigation.From September to November 2023,a total of 381 stroke patients were investigated by convenient sampling method to test the reliability and validity of the scale. Results The social alienation scale for stroke patients included 22 items in 4 dimensions, including cognitive alienation, emotional alienation, behavioral alienation and physical alienation.Four common factors were extracted by exploratory factor analysis, and the cumulative variance contribution rate was 68.615%.The Cronbach's alpha coefficient,split-half reliability and test-retest reliability of the scale were 0.912,0.907 and 0.965,respectively.The scale-level content validity index was 0.95,and item-level content validity index was 0.83-1.00.Confirmatory factor analysis showed that the model fitted well and the factor structure of the skill was stable. Conclusion The social alienation scale for stroke patients has good reliability and validity, and can be utilized to assess the level of social alienation for stroke patients.
