Comparison of the Effects of Moxifloxacin Injection at the Zusanli Acupoint and Neostigmine Injection Combined with Rhubarb Enema in Treating Gastrointestinal Dysfunction in Severe Patients

Abstract:Objective To explore the therapeutic effect difference between metoclopramide injection or neostigamine injection at Zusanli Acupoint combined with rhubarb enema in the treatment of severe patients with gastrointestinal dysfunction.Methods A total of 57 severe patients with gastrointestinal dysfunction who treated in the intensive care unit of Zhengzhou Second People's Hospital from January 2024 to May 2025 were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group.Both groups were received rhubarb enema treatment.The observation group(30 cases)was combined with the injection of metoclopramide needle at the Zusanli Acupoint,and the control group(27 cases)was combined with the injection of Neosmine needle at the Zusanli Acupoint.The recovery indicators of gastrointestinal function,nutritional indicators,classification of acute gastrointestinal injury(AGI)and adverse reactions were compared.Results The gastrointestinal function indicators of recovery time of bowel sounds and first defecation time in the observation group were all shorter than the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the nutritional indicators of serum albumin and prealbumin in both groups increased,and the levels in the observation group were higher than the control group(P<0.05).The AGI grading in the observation group was better(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower(P<0.05).Conclusion The treatment of metoclopramide injection at the Zusanli Acupoint combined with rhubarb enema has more advantages for patients with gastrointestinal dysfunction in severe patient.The treatment can effectively improve the nutritional indicators,promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function,alleviate clinical symptoms,and has good therapeutic safety.
