Abstract:Objective To investigate the prognostic effect of ultrasound-guided percutaneous patent foramen ovale(PFO)occlusion combined with aspirin enteric-coated tablets on patients with cryptogenic stroke(CS)combined with PFO.Methods A total of 90 CS patients with concomitant PFO admitted to the Zhengzhou Seventh People's Hospital were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 45 cases in each group, using the touch ball method.Control group received ultrasound-guided percutaneous PFO occlusion, observation group received ultrasound-guided percutaneous PFO occlusion combined with aspirin enteric coated tablets.Coagulation indicators, cardiac function indicators, headache scores, and incidence of ischemic cerebrovascular events before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, both groups of patients showed improvement in coagulation function and cardiac function indicators, with the observation group showing better coagulation function and cardiac function indicators than the control group(P<0.05).After 3 months of treatment, the headache scores of both groups of patients decreased, and the observation group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of ischemic cerebrovascular events between groups(P>0.05),but the incidence of ischemic cerebrovascular events in the observation group was lower than that in the control group. Conclusion Ultrasound guided percutaneous PFO closure combined with aspirin enteric coated tablets can improve coagulation indicators, cardiac function, alleviate headache symptoms, and prevent ischemic cerebrovascular events in patients with CS combined with PFO.
