Abstract:Objective To analyze the clinical outcomes and neonatal outcomes after frozen-thawed embryo resuscitation transfer and fresh embryo transfer. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on 5 444 patients who underwent assisted reproduction and assisted pregnancy in the Third Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2021 to July 2023,who were divided into resuscitation transplantation group(3 716 cases)and fresh transplantation group(1 728 cases)according to embryo transfer protocol. The resuscitation transplantation group underwent freeze-thaw embryo resuscitation transfer, and the fresh transplantation group underwent fresh embryo transfer.Ovulation induction, clinical outcome and neonatal outcome were compared between the two groups. Results Compared with the fresh transplantation group, the total amount of gonadotropin used in resuscitation transplantation group was lower, the level of progesterone on human chorionic gonadotrophin days was higher, and the number of eggs obtained was higher(P<0.05).The clinical pregnancy rate in resuscitation transplantation group was higher than that in fresh transplantation group(P<0.05).The incidence of macrosomia in resuscitated transplantation group was higher than that in fresh transplantation group(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with fresh embryo transfer, the number of eggs obtained by freeze-thaw embryo resuscitate transfer is higher, which can increase the clinical pregnancy rate and improve the neonatal outcome, but it may increase the risk of macrosomia, and the appropriate embryo transfer program should be selected according to the specific situation in the clinic.
