Abstract:Objective To observe the effects of low frequency repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation(rTMS)combined with fixed priority dual task training on lower limb motor function and quality of life in stroke patients with hemiplegia. Methods A total of 60 cases of hemiplegic patients with stroke admitted from May 2021 to August 2023 were divided into two groups. The conventional group was given fixed-priority dual-task training, and the rTMS group was given low-frequency rTMS treatment on the basis of the conventional group. The differences in Fugl-Meyer assessment scale lower extremity(FMA-LE)scores,fall risk rating(FRT),Berg balance scale(BBS)scores,National Institute of Health stroke scale(NIHSS)scores, and short form-36 questionnaire(SF-36)scores were recorded and compared between the two groups. The maximum peak amplitude of motor evoked potentials(MEP),10 metres maximum walking speed(10 MWS)and stability limit test results were detected between the two groups. Results After treatment,FMA-LE score,SF-36 score(except body pain score)and BBS score were increased in two groups, and higher in rTMS group(P<0.05).FRT scores and NIHSS scores were lower in two groups, and lower in rTMS group(P<0.05).After treatment, the maximum peak of MEP amplitude,10 MWS,was increased in two groups, and higher in rTMS group(P<0.05).After treatment, the forward indexes of left, right, forward left, forward right, global and rTMS groups were increased in both groups, and the forward indexes of left, left, right and global indexes were higher in rTMS group after treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion Low frequency rTMS combined with fixed priority dual task training can promote the recovery of lower limb motor function, improve balance ability and reduce the risk of falls in stroke patients with hemiplegia.
