Short-Term Effect of Radiofrequency Ablation Combined with Injection of Foam Sclerosing Agent and Dot Stripping in the Treatment of Lower Limb Varicose Veins Under Daytime Surgery Mode

Abstract：Objective To investigate the short-term effect of radiofrequency ablation combined with injection of foam sclerosing agent and dot stripping in the treatment of lower limb varicose veins under daytime surgery mode.Methods A control group of 53 patients with lower extremity varicose veins admitted to Zhengzhou People's Hospital from January 2022 to October 2023 was selected.A study group of 53 patients with lower extremity varicose veins admitted to Zhengzhou People's Hospital from November 2023 to October 2024 under the daytime surgery mode was also selected.The control group underwent high ligation and stripping of the great saphenous vein trunk combined with dot stripping.The study group underwent radiofrequency ablation(RFA)combined with injection of foam sclerosing agent and dot stripping.Differences between groups were compared for clinical efficacy,visual analogue scale(VAS)scores,venous clinical severity score(VCSS)scores,closure rates,length of hospital stay,serum indicators,and complication incidence.Results The study group demonstrated superior clinical efficacy,VAS scores,VCSS scores,postoperative closure rates,hospital stay duration,postoperative plasminogen activator inhibitor-1(PAI-1),fibrinogen(Fib),substance P(SP),bradykinin(BK),and complication incidence compared to the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion The short-term effect of RFA combined with injection of foam sclerosing agent and dot stripping in the treatment of lower limb varicose veins under daytime surgery mode is significant.This therapy significantly shortens hospitalization time,accelerates recovery,reduces the incidence of complications,and effectively improves related physiological indicators,worthy of clinical promotion.
