Abstract:Objective To explore the CT imaging characteristics of children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia and the changes of serum interleukin 6(IL-6),helper T cell 1(Th1)/helper T cell 2(Th2)levels and their correlation with vascular endothelial function. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 60 children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia who were treated in Children's Hospital Affiliated to Zhengzhou University from February 2020 to February 2023.These children were selected as the observation group.A total of 60 healthy children who underwent physical examination in Children's Hospital Affiliated to Zhengzhou University were selected as the control group. The CT imaging characteristics of children in the observation group were analyzed. The levels of serum IL-6,Th1/Th2 and vascular endothelial function indicators in both groups of children were recorded, and the correlation between serum IL-6,Th1/Th2 levels and vascular endothelial function indicators were explored. Results Six(10.00%)children in the observation group showed ground glass shadow,4(3.33%)showed nodules, and 42(67.67%)showed solid shadow.Compared with the control group,IL-6 and Th1/Th2 were increased in the observation group, vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),endothelin-1(ET-1),and nitric oxide(NO)were higher(P<0.05).The levels of IL-6,Th1/Th2,VEGF,ET-1,and NO in the ground glass shadow group were lower than those in the consolidation shadow group(P<0.05).The levels of IL-6,Th1/Th2,VEGF,ET-1,and NO in the nodular shadow group were lower than those in the consolidation shadow group(P<0.05).Pearson correlation showed that the observation group serum IL-6,Th1/Th2 were positively correlated with VEGF,ET-1,and NO levels(P<0.05).Conclusion Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia will cause changes in CT imaging characteristics of children, mostly manifested as consolidation, and affect their serum IL-6,Th1/Th2 levels and vascular endothelial function, and the changes in serum IL-6,Th1/Th2 levels are related to the impairment of vascular endothelial function.
