Abstract:Objective To analyse the current incidence of complications in patients with pregnancy complicated by uterine fibroids and to investigate the impact of fibroid characteristics on pregnancy outcomes. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 147 patients with pregnancy complicated by uterine fibroids admitted to Zhengzhou People's Hospital between August 2022 and August 2024.General sociodemographic information and disease-related characteristics were collected.Logistic regression analysis was employed to identify significant variables and explore the influence of fibroid characteristics on pregnancy outcomes. Results This study included 147 patients with pregnancy complicated by uterine fibroids.Among them,30 patients(20.41%)experienced abnormal pregnancy outcomes and were included in the abnormal group, while 117 patients(79.59%)had favourable pregnancy outcomes and were included in the favourable group.A total of 32 patients(21.77%)developed postpartum complications.Logistic regression analysis revealed that age, fibroid size, fibroid location, number of fibroids, and fibroid type were all risk factors for abnormal pregnancy outcomes in women with uterine fibroids, with OR all>1.Conclusion Age,fibroid size, fibroid location, number of fibroids, and fibroid type are all factors influencing abnormal pregnancy outcomes in cases of pregnancy complicated by uterine fibroids.Clinicians should integrate these factors when implementing appropriate nursing protocols for patients with pregnancy complicated by uterine fibroids to facilitate recovery.
