Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of platelet-rich plasma(PRP)combined with pedicled iliac bone graft in the treatment of early femoral head necrosis. Methods A total of 72 patients with early femoral head necrosis treated in Nanyang Central Hospital from June 2020 to June 2023 were selected and divided into control group(36 cases)and study group(36 cases)according to random number table method. The control group was treated with pedicled iliac bone graft, and the study group was treated with PRP on this basis. The therapeutic effect, hip function(Harris score),pain score[visual analogue scale(VAS)]and imaging evaluation were compared between the two groups. Results The excellent and good rate of the study group was 83.33%,which was higher than 61.11%of the control group(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the Harris scores of the study group were higher at 3,6,and 12 months after operation(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the VAS scores of the study group were lower at 3,6 and 12 months after operation(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the imaging scores of the study group were lower at 3,6,and 12 months after operation(P<0.05).Conclusion PRP combined with vascularized iliac bone transplantation for the treatment of early stage osteonecrosis of the femoral head can relieve postoperative pain and promote the recovery of hip joint function.
