Abstract:Objective To explore the effects of cognitive task training combined with Donepezil on cognitive function, motor function and quality of life in patients with Parkinson's disease and cognitive impairment. Methods There were 72 patients with Parkinson's disease with cognitive impairment admitted to Pingmei Shenma Group General Hospital from January 2023 to May 2024 were randomly divided into control group(36 cases)and observation group(36 cases). The control group was given Donepezil treatment, and the observation group was combined with cognitive task training based on the control group. After 3 months of treatment, the mental status and recognition of the two groups were assessed by the simple mental state examination scale, the Montreal cognitive assessment scale(MoCA),the Parkinson's disease rating scale(UPDRS),the Parkinson's neuropsychological dementia rating scale(PANDA),the daily living ability scale(ADL),and the Parkinson's disease quality of life questionnaire(PDQL)know the degree of dysfunction, motor function, improvement of cognitive impairment, ability to live daily and independent activities. Results All patients completed the study. There was no statistically significant difference in baseline characteristics between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the observation group showed superior scores in various cognitive and quality of life-related scales compared to the control group, and lower scores in all dimensions of the UPDRS compared to the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion Cognitive task training combined with Donepezil can effectively improve the cognitive function, activities of daily living and quality of life of patients with Parkinson's disease and reduce the symptoms of Parkinson's disease.
