Abstract:Objective To explore the application value of fibrinogen degradation product/fibrinogen(FDP/FIB),D-dimer(D-D),and C-reactive protein(CRP)levels in the prognosis evaluation of emergency severe trauma patients. Methods A total of 113 critically injured emergency patients admitted to the First People's Hospital of Pingdingshan City from July 2021 to January 2024 as the study subjects were selected retrospectively.Patients who were transferred to the ICU after receiving treatment were observed for 28 days.According to the final treatment outcome,91 patients survived(good group)and 22 patients did not survive(poor group). The expression levels of FDP/FIB,D-D,and CRP between the two groups of patients after treatment were compared.Logistic regression analysis was used to identify the influencing factors on the prognosis of critically injured emergency patients, while receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve analysis was used to assess the predictive value of FDP/FIB,D-D levels, and CRP expression on the prognosis of critically injured emergency patients. Results The expression levels of FDP/FIB,D-D,and CRP in patients with poor prognosis were higher than those in the good group(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in terms of age, gender, length of hospital stay, location of injury(abdomen or lumbar spine, limbs or pelvis),and cause of injury between the two groups of patients(P>0.05).The head and neck injuries(90.91%)and chest or lumbar spine injuries(95.45%)in the poor prognosis group were higher than those in the good prognosis group(P<0.05).Through logistic regression analysis, the expression levels of FDP/FIB,D-D,and CRP were all independent risk factors for poor prognosis in emergency severely injured patients(P<0.05),and they were all positively correlated.According to ROC curve analysis, the expression levels of FDP/FIB,D-D,and CRP had high predictive value for poor prognosis in emergency severely injured patients, with area under the curve(AUC)values of 0.919,0.833,and 0.905,respectively.Conclusion FDP/FIB,D-D and CRP levels are closely related to the prognosis of emergency patients with severe trauma, and testing them can help to evaluate the patient prognosis.
