Abstract:Objective To explore the current status and influencing factors of life satisfaction in patients after coronary artery bypass grafting. Methods A convenience sampling method was used to conduct a questionnaire survey among patients who underwent coronary artery bypass grafting at Henan Provincial Chest Hospital from January 2023 to January 2025.The life satisfaction index A(LSIA)was employed to assess the postoperative life satisfaction of coronary artery bypass grafting patients.A logistic regression model was constructed and validated to analyze the factors influencing life satisfaction. Results Univariate analysis showed that gender, age, body mass index(BMI),educational level, offspring status, employment status, underlying diseases, average monthly income, medical expense burden, family atmosphere, and family attitude were factors influencing patient life satisfaction(P<0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis revealed that life satisfaction in female patients was 3.773 times that of male patients(OR=3.773,95%CI:1.852-7.687),life satisfaction in patients aged<60 years was 3.287 times that of patients aged ≥60 years(OR=3.287,95%CI:1.355-7.972),life satisfaction in patients with body mass index<25 kg·m-2 was 2.375 times that of patients with body mass index ≥ 25 kg·m-2(OR=2.375,95%CI:1.742-3.237),life satisfaction in patients without children was 0.360 times that of patients with children(OR=0.360,95%CI:0.196-0.663),life satisfaction in patients with a general family atmosphere was 0.255 times that of patients with a harmonious family atmosphere(OR=0.255,95%CI:0.143-0.455).Employment status, average monthly income, and family attitude were all influencing factors for postoperative life satisfaction scores in coronary artery bypass grafting patients(P<0.05).Model validation results indicated that the logistic regression model was effective with good goodness-of-fit(P<0.05).Conclusion The overall level of postoperative life satisfaction in coronary artery bypass grafting patients is relatively low.Gender, age, body mass index, offspring status, family atmosphere, employment status, average monthly income, and family attitude significantly influence life satisfaction in patients after coronary artery bypass grafting.
