Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of sliding compression combined with proximal femoral nail anti-rotation(PFNA)on the prognosis of patients with intertrochanteric fracture(IFF).Methods A total of 80 patients with IFF who were admitted to Zhengzhou Orthopaedic Hospital from June 2022 to April 2024 were included in the study and grouped by random number table method. The control group(40 cases)received conventional PFNA internal fixation treatment, and the observation group(40 cases)received sliding pressure intervention during conventional PFNA internal fixation treatment. The operative indexes,Harris hip function scale(HHS)score, serum bone gla protein(BGP)level, procollagen ⅠN-terminal propeptide(P Ⅰ NP)level and complication rate were compared between the two groups. Results The fracture healing time in the observation group was earlier(P<0.05).Six months after operation, the HHS score of both groups increased compared with that before operation, and the HHS score of observation group was higher(P<0.05).Seven days after operation, the levels of BGP and P Ⅰ NP in both groups were increased compared with those before operation, and the levels of BGP and P Ⅰ NP in the observation group were higher(P<0.05).There was no difference in the incidence of complications between the two groups(10.00%vs 5.00%,P>0.05).Conclusion Sliding compression combined with PFNA internal fixation in the treatment of IFF has good clinical efficacy, which can effectively improve bone metabolism, accelerate fracture healing and improve hip joint function.
