Abstract:Objective To analyze the main factors affecting the efficacy of salvage angioplasty in patients with ischemic stroke and provide a reference for clinical treatment. Methods A total of 152 patients with ischemic stroke who underwent salvage angioplasty at Puyang Anyang District Hospital from January 2021 to January 2024 were retrospectively selected. The patients were divided into a good efficacy group(105 cases)according to the treatment effect and poor efficacy group(47 cases).Compared the general clinical data and surgical data of the two groups of patients.Multivariate logistic regression was used to analyze the factors influencing the efficacy of salvage angioplasty in patients with ischemic stroke. Results There were no differences in gender, drinking history, diabetes history, and hypertension history between the ischemic stroke patients in the good efficacy group and the poor efficacy group(P>0.05).There were statistically significant differences in the age,National Institutes of Health stroke scale(NIHSS)score on admission, blood sugar, combined smoking history, and the proportion of patients with atrial fibrillation between the two groups(P<0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in the time from onset to operation, recanalization time, anesthesia method, number of thrombectomy, infarction site, and treatment methods between the two groups(P>0.05).The results of multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that age, combined with atrial fibrillation, admission NIHSS score and blood sugar were factors affecting the efficacy of salvage angioplasty in patients with ischemic stroke(P<0.05).Conclusion The efficacy of salvage angioplasty in patients with ischemic stroke is affected by factors such as age, atrial fibrillation, preoperative NIHSS score, and blood sugar.
