Expression Level of KIFC1 and LMNB1 in Patients with Prostate Cancer and Its Correlation with Prognosis

Abstract：Objective To explore the expression levels of kinesin family member C1(KIFC1)and lamin B1(LMNB1)in patients with prostate cancer and their correlation with prognosis.Methods Immunohistochemical method was used to detect the expression of KIFC1 and LMNB1 in 86 patients with prostate cancer and adjacent tissues,and to analyze the relationship between KIFC1 and LMNB1 and clinicopathological features and the influencing factors of patients' prognosis.Results The positive rate of KIFC1 and LMNB1 expression in prostate cancer tissues was higher than that in adjacent tissues(P＜0.05).The expression of KIFC1 and LMNB1 in prostate cancer was correlated with T stage,differentiation degree,Gleason score and lymph node metastasis(P＜0.05).Lymph node metastasis,KIFC1 expression and LMNB1 expression were independent factors affecting the prognosis of prostate cancer patients(P＜0.05).Conclusion The expression of KIFC1 and LMNB1 in prostate cancer tissue is significantly increased,which is closely related to T stage,differentiation degree,Gleason score,lymph node metastasis and prognosis of patients,and can be used as a potential biomarker for clinical pathological diagnosis and prognosis of patients with prostate cancer.
