Abstract:Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of transanal opening of intersphincteric space(TROPIS)combined with parks procedure on patients with high transsphincter anal fistulas. Methods Eighty-four patients with high position anal fistula treated in Zhengzhou Central Hospital from March 2021 to December 2023 were selected and randomly divided into two groups using a random number table method. The study group(42 cases)received TROPIS combined with parks virtual thread drawing surgery, while the control group(42 cases)received TROPIS combined with solid thread drawing surgery. The clinical efficacy, clinical indicators, anal recovery, and complications of the two groups were compared. Results Surgery time, postoperative wound healing time, and wound pain disappearance time showed no statistically significant differences between the two groups(P>0.05).On day 7 after surgery, anal squeeze pressure, rectal resting pressure and anal resting pressure of the study group were higher than those the control group(P<0.05).Three months after surgery,Wexner score, digital rectal function score and the incidence of complications in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The one-time cure rate and recurrence rate showed no statistically significant differences between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion TROPIS combined with parks procedure can enhance the therapeutic effect on high transsphincter anal fistula, promote anal function recovery, and reduce the risk of postoperative complications.
