Abstract:Objective To detect the expressions of Vimentin, postmeiotic segregation increased 2(PMS2)and MutS protein homolog 6(MSH6),and clinicopathological characteristics in endometrial carcinoma(EC).Methods A total of 100 EC patients were selected from March 2020 to November 2023,all of whom underwent surgical treatment. After surgery, cancer tissue and adjacent tissues were taken.Immunohistochemical detection of Vimentin,PMS2,and MSH6 expression in cancer and adjacent tissues. The correlation among Vimentin,PMS2 and MSH6 in carcinoma tissues was analyzed by Spearman coefficient. Results The positive rate of Vimentin and deletion rates of PMS2 and MSH6 in patients with endometrial carcinoma were 55.00%,19.00%and 14.00%,higher than those in control group(20.00%,5.00%,4.00%)(P<0.05).The positive expression of Vimentin, deletion of PMS2 and MSH6 were correlated with histological types,FIGO staging, differentiation degree, lymph node metastasis and invasion depth(P<0.05).Spearman correlation analysis showed that expressions of Vimentin,PMS2 and MSH6 in endometrial carcinoma tissues were positively correlated with FIGO staging, lymph node metastasis and invasion depth, while negatively correlated with differentiation degree(P<0.05).Spearman analysis showed that the expression of Vimentin was positively correlated with PMS2 and MSH6,and PMS2 was also positively correlated with MSH6(P<0.05).Conclusion The expressions of Vimentin,PMS2 and MSH6 are abnormal in EC patients, and all the three are correlated with clinicopathological characteristics.
