Abstract:Objective To explore the expression of plasma proteins S,protein C,and antithrombin Ⅲ activity in patients with different types of preeclampsia(PE),and to analyze the pregnancy outcomes of patients with different types of PE.Methods Retrospective collection of medical records of 50 pregnant women with early onset preeclampsia(EOPE)admitted to Women and Infants Hospital of Zhengzhou from January 2020 to November 2023,and their medical records of 50 pregnant women with late onset preeclampsia(LOPE)admitted to the hospital during the same period were included in the EOPE group.Another 50 healthy pregnant women with gestational age<34 weeks admitted to the hospital during the same period were selected as control group 1,and 50 healthy pregnant women with gestational age ≥ 34 weeks were selected as control group 2.The baseline data, plasma protein S,protein C,antithrombin Ⅲ activity expression, and incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes in PE patients among four groups were compared. Results There was no statistical significant difference in plasma protein S,protein C,and antithrombin Ⅲ activity between the EOPE group and the LOPE group(P>0.05).The activities of plasma proteins S,protein C,and antithrombin Ⅲ in the EOPE group were lower than those in the control group 1(P<0.05).The activities of plasma proteins S,protein C,and antithrombin Ⅲ in the LOPE group were lower than those in the control group 2(P<0.05).There was no statistical significant difference in plasma protein S,protein C,and antithrombin Ⅲ activity between control group 1 and control group 2(P>0.05).According to statistics, there were 11 cases(22.00%)of adverse pregnancy outcomes in the LOPE group and 21 cases(42.00%)in the EOPE group. There was difference in the incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes between the two groups(x2=4.596,P=0.032).The results of logistic regression analysis showed that the expression of plasma proteins S,protein C,and antithrombin Ⅲ activity could affect the occurrence of adverse pregnancy outcomes in EOPE(P<0.05).Conclusion The decrease in plasma protein S,protein C,and antithrombin Ⅲ activity is associated with the onset of PE.The probability of adverse pregnancy outcomes in EOPE patients is higher than that in LOPE patients. The decrease in plasma protein S,protein C,and antithrombin Ⅲ activity can affect the occurrence of adverse pregnancy outcomes in EOPE patients.
