Abstract:Cardiac arrest remains a critical global health challenge, with conventional chest compression limited by high rib fracture rates and inadequate cerebral perfusion. This article comprehensively elucidates the theoretical foundation, scientific mechanisms, and clinical value of active abdominal lifting and compression cardiopulmonary resuscitation(AL-CPR),which originates from Zhang Zhongjing's"Holistic Concept"and"the theory of Qi ascending and descending".Multidisciplinary studies have confirmed its unique advantages in improving thoraco-abdominal pressure balance, enhancing coronary perfusion, and regulating neuroendocrine functions.Clinical evidence demonstrates that AL-CPR extends the effective resuscitation time window to the"Platinum Ten Minutes"and significantly improves survival rates in contraindicated patients. The paper proposes a new paradigm of integrated Chinese and Western medicine by establishing a"heart-abdomen-brain"resuscitation chain, and discusses strategic implementation pathways from technological promotion, policy support,to global collaboration. As the first internationally mainstream resuscitation technique derived from Traditional Chinese Medicine theory,AL-CPR exemplifies the tremendous potential of integrative innovation, providing a Chinese solution for cardiac arrest management.
