Abstract:Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of bilateral uterine artery suture combined with intrauterine balloon tamponade in parturients with postpartum hemorrhage caused by uterine inertia after cesarean section. Methods The data of 83 parturients with postpartum hemorrhage caused by uterine inertia during cesarean section admitted to the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Puyang People's Hospital from June 2022 to February 2024 were collected for retrospective study.According to the treatment plan, parturients were divided into study group(40 cases, bilateral uterine artery ligation combined with intrauterine balloon tamponade)and control group(43 cases, bilateral uterine artery ligation).Perioperative indicators,24 hours preoperative and postoperative coagulation function, and postoperative complications were compared between two groups. Results There was no statistical significant difference in the surgical time and hospital stay between the two groups of parturients(P>0.05).Compared with the control group, the amount of bleeding during operation, the amount of bleeding at 2 hours after operation and the amount of bleeding at 24 hours after operation were less in the study group(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT),prothrombin time(PT)and thrombin time(TT)were shorter and fibrinogen(FIB)was lower in the study group at 24 hours after operation(P<0.05).The incidence of postoperative complications in the study group(7.50%)was slightly higher than that in the control group(6.98%),but there was no statistical significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The application of bilateral uterine artery ligation combined with intrauterine balloon tamponade in parturients with postpartum hemorrhage caused by uterine inertia during cesarean section can promote the improvement of coagulation function and improve the hemostatic effect, with good safety.
