Bibliometrics Visual Analysis of Psychological Empowerment of Nurses Based on Web of Science

Abstract：Objective To analyze the relevant literature in the field of nurse psychological empowerment,and to explore the current research status,hotspots,and development trends in this field.Methods The core collection of the Web of Science database was systematically searched.Literature on nurse psychological empowerment that was publicly published from January 1,1997 to September 30,2023 was organized,and bibliometric visualization software CiteSpace,VOSviewer,and Bibliometrix were used to draw a scientific knowledge graph such as keyword network,cluster analysis,topic evolution,density graph,and strategic coordinates,and analyze it to reveal the overall picture of the research field.Results A total of 356 articles were included,and the number of articles was increasing year by year.In the future,research in the field of psychological empowerment of nurses will continue to receive attention from researchers.Research on nurse psychological empowerment mainly focused on nursing,management,health policy services,healthcare science services,gerontology,psychiatry,and applied psychology.According to the results of keyword co-occurrence clustering,the current research on nurse psychological empowerment can be divided into three categories:influencing factors,effects,and intervention studies on nurses' psychological empowerment.CiteSpace visualization knowledge graph analysis showed that management,model,perception,burnout,intervention,self-efficacy,job strain,performance,factor analysis,innovation behavior,turnover intention,affective commitment,questionnaire,care quality,ethical climate,mediating effect,moderating effect,leadership style,work engagement,artificial intelligence,satisfaction,human resource management,leader-member exchange and organizational citizenship behavior had been research hotspots in recent years.The research type mainly focused on cross-sectional surveys.The research on nurse psychological empowerment had interdisciplinary characteristics,and psychology and education played an important bridging role between interdisciplinary applications.Conclusion The academic influence of nurse psychological empowerment in the field of psychology is increasing year by year.Future research directions can focus on nurse administrators,perception,surveys and questionnaires,latent profile analysis,personnel turnover,and intervention.
