Effects of Aerobic Interval Training Combined with Daggliflozin in Elderly Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Complicated with Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease

Abstract：Objective To study the effects of aerobic interval training combined with daggliflozin on liver controlled attenuation parameter(CAP),liver stiffness value(LSM),carotid intima-media thickness(IMT)in elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).Methods Eighty elderly T2DM patients with NAFLD admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Luohe Medical College from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected as the study subjects.They were randomly divided into observation group and control group of 40 cases each.The control group received daggliflozin,while observation group received daggliflozin combined with aerobic interval training.Both groups received treatment for two months.The levels of serum fasting blood glucose(FBG),fasting insulin(FINS),insulin resistance index(HOMA-IR),visceral adiponectin,adiponectin,and leptin before and after treatment were observed.CAP,LSM and IMT before and after treatment were recorded.Results After treatment,the levels of FBG,HOMA-IR,visceral adiponectin,leptin,CAP,LSM,and IMT in observation group were lower than those in control group(P＜0.05),and FINS and adiponectin were higher than those in control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion In the elderly patients with NAFLD combined with T2DM,adjuvant aerobic interval training on the basis of dapagliflozin treatment can better control blood glucose levels,significantly reduce visceral adipin and leptin levels in the body,increase adiponectin levels,and improve liver fat deposition and carotid intima thickness.
