Abstract:Objective To explore the correlation between endoscopy and pathological results of residual gastric lesions in patients with residual stomach and Helicobacter pylori(Hp)infection. Methods Ninety patients with residual stomach admitted to the Gastroenterology Department of Nanyang Central Hospital from April 2022 to April 2023 were selected.According to the postoperative pathological results of the patients, they were divided into two groups, with the benign group(45 cases)being the postoperative benign peptic ulcer group and the residual stomach group(45 cases)being the postoperative early gastric cancer group. The endoscopy, pathological results, and Hp infection of residual gastric lesions in two groups of patients were analyzed. Results The incidence of activity in the gastric residue group(66.67%)was higher than that in the benign group(42.22%)(P<0.05).In patients with Hp(+)infection, the incidence of chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG),gastric precancerous lesion(GCPL)and activity were higher than those in patients with Hp(-)infection(P<0.05),and the incidence of NAG in patients with Hp(-)infection was higher than in patients with Hp(+)infection(P<0.05).Conclusion After major gastric resection, the residual stomach is associated with Hp.Due to the need for long-term recovery after surgery,it is recommended that patients undergo regular gastroscopy and Hp testing for early detection and treatment.
