Abstract:Objective To investigate and analyze the clinical efficacy of craniosacral therapy in patients with anxiety and insomnia after stroke. Methods A total of 80 stroke patients with anxiety and insomnia admitted to Yellow River Central Hospital of Yellow River Conservancy Commission from January to December 2021 were selected as the research objects. All cases were randomly divided into treatment group(40 cases)and control group(40 cases). The Control groups received routine basic treatment and oral alprazolam while the treatment group was given craniosacral therapy on the basis of the control group. The scores of Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA)and Pittsburgh sleep index(PSQI)were observed before treatment and after 4 weeks of treatment in the two groups. Results Before treatment, there was no significant difference in HAMA and PSQI scores between the two groups(P>0.05).The HAMA and PSQI scores of the treatment group were all declined than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion As a non-pharmacological therapy, craniosacral therapy can effectively reduce anxiety symptoms and improve sleep quality in stroke patients, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
