Current Situation and Influencing Factors of Occupational Risk Perception Among Operating Room Nurses from Grade A Tertiary Hospital in Henan Province

Abstract：Objective To understand the current situation of occupational risk perception among operating room nurses in Henan Province and analyze its influencing factors.Methods Using convenience sampling method,382 operating room nurses from grade A tertiary hospital in Henan Province were selected as the survey subjects from February to May 2023.The survey was conducted using a general information survey questionnaire,a risk perception questionnaire for nursing staff,a positive and negative emotion scale,a nursing work environment scale,and a safety organization scale.Results The risk perception score of operating room nurses was(86.13±8.57)points,and the top three dimensions of the score were time risk(21.20±3.82)points,physical function risk(16.58±2.42)points,and social psychological risk(15.29±3.29)points.The results of multivariate analysis indicated that marital status,work experience,education level,total score of the safety organization scale,total score of medical and nursing cooperation,and total score of positive emotions were independent influencing factors of the nursing risk perception level of operating room nurses,which can explain a total of 64.3％of the variance(F=58.150,P＜0.001,R2=0.654,adjusted R2=0.643).Conclusion The risk perception of nurses in the operating room of a certain hospital in Henan Province is a moderate level,and nursing managers should focus on taking protective measures early on sensitive risk dimensions to maintain an appropriate and stable level,conduct risk management for nurses with lower risk perception to improve their risk perception level and reduce the occurrence of risk events.
