Development Trends of Decoction Service in Medical Institutions for Traditional Chinese Medicine Dispensed Outside Based on CiteSpace and Survey

Abstract：Objective To evaluate the current development and research hotspots of traditional Chinese medicine dispensed decoction service through bibliometric methods.To explore development trends of decoction service in medical institutions for traditional Chinese medicine dispensed outside through investigation and study on the status in Zhengzhou.Methods The articles on traditional Chinese medicine decoction service published from the the inception to October 15,2023 were searched by China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),Wanfang,Weipu Database.The bibliometrics software CiteSpace was used for visual analysis of keyword co-occurrence,clustering and emergence.The status of decoction service in medical institutions for traditional Chinese medicine dispensed outside and suggestions were investigated by a questionnaire in"Wen Juan Xing"among pharmacy managers and traditional Chinese medicine practitioners.Results A total of 361 Chinese articles were included in this study.The key words of traditional Chinese medicine decoction service were quality control,decoction method,quality supervision,informationization,etc.,and there was no research on the decoction service for traditional Chinese medicine dispensed outside.Decoction service and decoction quality were still the mail hotspot and trend in the field.A total of 226 people from 23 medical institutions in Zhengzhou participated in the survey and the questionnaire response rate was 100％.Totally 69.47％of the respondents refused decoction service for safety risks,6.64％accepted decoction service for traditional Chinese medicine dispensed outside from legitimate source,11.95％accepted decoction service because they regarded traditional Chinese medicine as safe source,7.08％thought that the patients should be informed of the risk and signed the agreement before the decoction,and 4.87％remained neutral.Conclusion The decoction service in medical institutions for traditional Chinese medicine dispensed outside can improve the satisfaction of patients and pharmaceutical service capacity of the hospital.Lack of relevant regulations and the safety of patients' medication are worthy of attention of medical institutions.In the future,the research in the field may be an important topic in the medical institutions and even the medical management department.
