Diagnostic Efficacy of Dual-Source CT for Intracerebral Hemorrhage in Patients with Acute Cerebral Infarction Following Intravascular Intervention:A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

Abstract：Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of dual-source CT in differentiating incerebral hemorrhage and contrast medium extravasation after intravascular intervention in acute cerebral infarction(AIS)patients through a meta-analysis.Methods Studies assessing the diagnostic efficacy of dual-source CT for distinguishing cerebral hemorrhage from contrast medium extravasation after intravascular interventions in cases of AIS from Embase,PubMed,Web of Science,Wanfandin.com,CNKI,and VIP databases from database inception to May 1,2024 were systematically searched.Screening,quality assessment,and data extraction were conducted on these studies.Meta-analysis was performed using Meta-DiSc 1.4,RevMan 5.3 and Stata 16 software.Results A total of 1 993 patients from 22 studies were included.Follow-up results of routine MRI or routine CT were seted as diagnostic standard reference,the combined sensitivity and specificity of dual-source CT in differentiating cerebral hemorrhage and contrast medium extravasation after intravascular intervention in AIS patients were 0.78(95％CI:0.75-0.81)and 0.98(95％CI:0.97-0.99),respectively.Additionally,the area under the curve(AUC)of summary receiver operating characteristic(SROC)curve was 0.984 8.Deeks' funnel plot indicated no significant publication bias among the included literature(P=0.33).Conclusion Dual-source CT demonstrates excellent accuracy and specificity in the differential diagnosis of cerebral hemorrhage versus contrast medium extravasation following intravascular intervention in AIS patients.
