Relationship Between Serum Uric Acid High Density Lipoprotein Cholesterol Ratio and Prognosis in Patients with Acute Cerebral Infarction

Abstract：Objective To investigate the prognostic value of uric acid/high density lipoprotein cholesterol(UHR)ratio in patients with acute cerebral infarction(ACI).Methods A total of 225 patients diagnosed with ACI and hospitalized in Zhengzhou Yihe Hospital were retrospectively collected.ACI patients were split into mild ACI group(118 cases)and moderate to severe ACI group(107 cases)according to the NIHSS score at admission.Clinical baseline data and various indexes of the two groups were compared and analyzed.logistic regression model was used to analyze the risk factors.Receiver operating characteristic curve was used to analyze the predictive effect of UHR on poor prognosis of ACI patients.Results The patients with moderate and severe cerebral infarction had more diabetes than those with mild cerebral infarction.The white blood cell count,neutrophil count,triglyceride,high density lipoprotein cholesterol,blood uric acid,neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio(NLR),platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio(PLR)and UHR were higher,and the lymphocyte count was lower(P＜0.05).White blood cell count(95％CI:1.007-1.213,P=0.034)and UHR(95％CI:1.006-1.016,P＜0.001)were independent risk factors for poor prognosis in ACI patients.ROC analysis showed that the area under the curve of UHR for predicting poor prognosis in ACI patients was 0.723(95％CI:0.637-0.809,P＜0.001).Conclusion UHR can predict the poor prognosis of ACI patients.
