Influencing Factors of Recurrence in Patients with Colon Polyps After Endoscopic Resection and Construction of Logistic Regression Model

Abstract：Objective To analyze the influencing factors of recurrence in patients with colon polyps after endoscopic resection.Methods A total of 296 cases of patients with colon polyps in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January to December 2020 were selected as the research objects by retrospective study.All patients underwent endoscopic resection.They were divided into recurrence group(96 cases)and non recurrence group(200 cases)according to whether recurrence occurred 3 years after operation.The basic data of the two groups were compared,and the logistic regression model was constructed to analyze the risk factors of postoperative recurrence,combined with the risk factor data,the logistic regression prediction model was constructed to analyze the value of the prediction model in predicting postoperative recurrence.Results The age ≥60 years old,male,the number of polyps＞2,the diameter of polyps ≥2 cm and the proportion of adenomatous in the recurrence group were higher than those in the non recurrence group(P＜0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that age ≥ 60 years old,male,the number of polyps＞2,polyp diameter ≥2 cm,adenomatous were the independent risk factors for recurrence of colon polyps after endoscopic resection(P＜0.05).The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve showed that the area under the curve(AUC)value was 0.848(95％CI:0.795-0.904),the best sensitivity was 80.21％,and the best specificity was 85.00％(P＜0.05).Conclusion The independent risk factors for recurrence of patients with colon polyps after endoscopic resection are age ≥ 60 years old,male,the number of polyps＞2,the diameter of polyps ≥2 cm,adenomatous.The prediction model based on influencing factors can effectively predict the risk of recurrence after operation,which is convenient for clinical early development of prevention and treatment measures.
