Influencing Factors of Long-Standing Persistent Atrial Fibrillation Recurrence After Radiofrequency Catheter Ablation

Abstract：Objective To investigate the influencing factors of long-standing persistent atrial fibrillation(LSPAF)recurrence after radiofrequency catheter ablation(RFC A).Methods In this study,75 patients with LSPAF undergoing RFC A were divided into recurrence group and non-recurrence group according to postoperative conditions in the Chest Hospital of Zhengzhou University.The univariable analysis and binomial logistic regression analysis were performed to identify independent risk factors for LSPAF recurrence after RFC A.The nomogram was established for LSPAF recurrence after RFC A.The curves of receiver operating characteristic(ROC)and decision curve analysis(DC A)were predicted to verify the accuracy of the nomogram model.Results The binomial logistic regression analysis identified pulmonary vein diameter(PVD)and pulmonary vein volume(PVV)as independent predictors of the recurrence LSPAF after RFC A.A nomogram was developed using these predictors,with PVV being the strongest predictor,followed by PVD.The ROC curve analysis showed that the area under curve for PVD,PVV,and the combined PVD-PVV model were 0.643,0.702 and 0.755,respectively.The DCA indicated that the models provided better clinical benefits when the threshold probability range from 0.07 to 0.65.Conclusion PVV and PVD are independent predictors of LSPAF recurrence after RFCA.And nomogram has high value in predicting the recurrence of LSPAF RFCA.
