Abstract:Objective To analyze the treatment outcomes and influencing factors of rifampicin-resistant tuberculosis patients in Luoyang from 2015 to 2022,providing references for the prevention and control of rifampicin-resistant tuberculosis. Methods The cases of rifampicin-resistant patients in Luoyang from 2015 to 2022 were extracted from the"surveillance report management"subsystem of the China disease prevention and control information system.Factors influencing the treatment outcomes of patients were analyzed.Univariate analysis was conducted using the x2 test, and multivariate analysis was performed using logistic regression. Results A total of 511 rifampicin-resistant tuberculosis patients were included from 2015 to 2022,comprising 389 males(76.1%)and 122 females(23.9%),with an age of(41.40±17.26)years.The successful treatment rate was 47.2%.Univariate analysis showed that the success rate of treatment varied significantly by gender, age group, population classification, and diagnosis and management regions(P<0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis indicated that female patients had a 49.9%lower risk of adverse outcomes compared to males(OR=0.501,95%CI:0.324-0.774),patients with stable employment had a 49.2%lower risk of adverse outcomes compared to those engaged in domestic duties or unemployed(OR=0.508,95%CI:0.261-0.989),patients diagnosed and managed from other areas had a 2.394 times higher risk of adverse outcomes compared to local patients(OR=2.394,95%CI:1.385-4.137).Conclusion The successful treatment rate of rifampicin-resistant tuberculosis patients in Luoyang needs improvement.Treatment outcomes are influenced by factors such as gender, age, population classification, and the regions of diagnosis and management.
