Abstract:Objective To analyze the path of factors affecting psychological distress in patients undergoing allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(allo-HSCT),and provide evidence for timely clinical response strategies. Methods A total of 186 patients with allo-HSCT admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2022 to April 2024 were selected as the research objects, and the demographic characteristics, psychological distress, family function and uncertainty of disease were investigated by questionnaire.SPSS 27.0 software was used for descriptive analysis,Pearson was used for correlation analysis, and Model 4 was used to analyze the mediating role of family function between uncertainty and psychological distress. Results The psychological distress score of allo-HSCT patients was(6.12±2.18)scores,with 47.51%scoring ≥4 scores.Pearson analysis showed that psychological distress was significantly negatively correlated with family functioning(r=-0.516,P<0.001)and positively correlated with disease uncertainty(r=0.412,P<0.001).Family functioning was negatively correlated with disease uncertainty(r=-0.587,P<0.001).Model 4 analysis showed that family function played a partial mediating role between disease uncertainty and psychological distress, with an intermediary effect of 46.55%.Conclusion Family function plays a partial mediating role between disease uncertainty and psychological distress in allo-HSCT patients. In clinical practice, healthcare professionals should pay attention to intervening in patients'family function, assisting them in obtaining more family support, and thereby reducing psychological distress.
