Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of rumination and school bullying on internet addiction behavior in adolescents with first episode depressive disorder. Methods A total of 189 patients with depressive disorder aged 12-18 years were evaluated by Hamilton rating scale for depression-17 items(HAMD-17),ruminative responses scale(RRS),Chinese version of the school bullying experience questionnaire(C-SBEQ)and internet addiction scale(IAT).Correlation analysis between variables used Pearson correlation analysis.Binary logistic regression analysis was used to explore the influencing factors of adolescent depressive disorder with internet addiction. Results The incidence of internet addiction in adolescent depressive disorder was 60.3%.HAMD-17 was positively correlated with IAT(P<0.05).HAMD-17 was positively correlated with RSS,SBEQ-1 and SBEQ-2(P<0.01).RSS was positively correlated with SBEQ-1 and SBEQ-2(P<0.01).IAT was positively correlated with RSS and SBEQ-3(P<0.01).Binary logistic analysis showed that RRS and SBEQ-3(OR>1,P<0.05)were risk factors for adolescent depressive disorder with internet addiction, and age(OR<1,P<0.05)was a protective factor. The area under the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve of the prediction model was 0.73,P<0.001.Conclusion Rumination and school bullying may affect the severity of adolescent depressive disorder.Age,rumination and perpetrators of school bullying have certain predictive value for adolescent depressive disorder patients with internet addiction.
