Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of manipulative repositioning combined with curved angle percutaneous vertebroplasty(PC VP)in the treatment of osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture(OVCF).Methods One hundred patients with OVCF in Xuchang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected from March 2021 to July 2023,and were divided into manipulative repositioning combined with PCVP group and percutaneous vertebral kyphoplasty(PKP)group according to randomized numerical table method, each with 50 cases. The PKP group received PKP,and the manipulative repositioning combined with PCVP group received manipulative repositioning combined with PCVP.The perioperative conditions, cement injection and distribution, the structure of injured vertebrae,Oswestry dysfunction index(ODI),and the complication rate were compared between the two groups. Results The operation time and hospitalization time of the manual repositioning combined with PCVP group were shorter than that of the PKP group, and the intraoperative bleeding and treatment cost were less than that of the PKP group(P<0.05).The amount of bone cement injected in the manual repositioning combined with PCVP group was more than that in the PKP group, and the distribution of bone cement vertebrae was better than that in the PKP group(P<0.05).Compared with the preoperative period, the height of the anterior margin of the injured vertebra, the Cobb angle of the posterior convexity and the ODI scores of the two groups were improved at 3 months after the operation(P<0.05),but the difference was not statistically significant when comparing between groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in complications between the manual repositioning combined with PCVP group compared with the PKP group(P>0.05).Conclusion The treatment of OVCF with manipulative repositioning and PCVP can improve the perioperative situation, can effectively reset the injured vertebrae and kyphosis, can improve the vertebral dysfunction, and has good safety.
