Correlation Between Gastric Cancer Tissue MicroRNA-181d-5p,PP2A and Survival Within 5 Years After Surgery

Abstract：Objective To analyze the correlation between gastric cancer tissue microRNA-181 d-5p,protein phosphatase 2A(PP2A)and survival within 5 years after surgery.Methods A total of 96 patients with gastric cancer who underwent radical surgery in Anyang Cancer Hospital from June 2018 to June 2019 were selected as the research subjects.Gastric cancer tissue samples and adjacent normal tissues were collected during the operation.The of microRNA-181 d-5p and PP2A was detected.The patients were followed up for 5 years after the operation,and their status was recorded.Results Compared with the adjacent normal tissues,expression of microRNA-181d-5p of the gastric cancer tissue samples was higher and PP2A was lower(P＜0.05).There were significant differences between the high expression group of microRNA-181 d-5p and the low expression group,and the positive expression group of PP2A and the negative expression group in tumor differentiation degree,invasion depth,lymph node metastasis and TNM stage(P＜0.05).There were no significant differences in age,sex and tumor diameter(P＞0.05).The factors affecting survival within 5 years surgery include tumor differentiation,invasion depth,lymph node metastasis,TNM stage(P＜0.05).microRNA-181d-5p was negatively correlated with the degree of tumor differentiation,but positively correlated with the depth of invasion,lymph node metastasis and TNM stage,microRNA-181d-5p and PP2A(P＜0.05).PP2A was positively correlated with the degree of tumor differentiation,but negatively correlated with invasion depth,lymph node metastasis and TNM stage(P＜0.05).Conclusion The expression of microRNA-181d-5p and PP2A is closely related to the occurrence and development of gastric cancer.Gastric cancer patients with higher expression of microRNA-181d-5p and lower expression of PP2A have a higher risk of postoperative recurrence and metastasis and a shorter survival period,which is of high value in predicting 5-year postoperative survival.
