Effects of Bronchoscopy Lavage Combined with Gamma Globulin on Pulmonary Function and Blood Gas Indexes in Patients with Severe Pulmonary Infection

Abstract：Objective To explore the effect of fiberoptic bronchoscopy irrigation combined with gammaglobulin in the treatment of severe pulmonary infection on the improvement of patients' lung function and blood gas indexes.Methods Ninety-eight patients with severe pulmonary infection were selected from Henan Chest Hospital and divided into 49 cases of control group and 49 cases of research group according to the treatment method,in which both groups were treated with gammaglobulin drip,and fiberoptic bronchoscopy lavage was given to the research group on the basis of the treatment,and the clinical efficacy,symptomatic improvement time,lung function,and blood gas indexes were compared between the two groups of patients.Results The total clinical efficacy rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The time for the disappearance of pulmonary symptoms,the time for the return of body temperature to normal,the time for the restoration of mechanical ventilation,the time for the return of blood to normal,and the time for hospitalization of the study group were shorter than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The maximal voluntary ventilation,the total lung capacity,forced expiratory volume in one second,and the maximal mid-expiration flow of the study group were higher than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Arterial partial pressure of oxygen,arterial oxygen saturation were higher than those of the control group,and partial pressure of carbon dioxide was lower than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Fiberoptic bronchoscopy irrigation combined with gammaglobulin,used in the treatment of severe lung infection,can significantly improve the patient's blood gas index and lung function,the efficacy is remarkable.
